Mypage gives a property agent one public page — mypage.ae/their name — and a way for people to reach them. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

Two kinds of people appear in our records, and the difference matters: agents, who sign up and run a page, and enquirers, who fill in the form on an agent’s page. Where the answer differs, it says so.

If you are an agent

We store what you give us to build your page:

• Your email address, which is how you sign in.
• Your name, job title, brokerage, service areas, languages and short bio.
• Your profile photo, if you upload one.
• Your WhatsApp number, phone number and contact email — whichever you choose to publish.
• Links to your social accounts.
• The property listings you add. These are links to portals such as Bayut, Dubizzle or Property Finder, plus the summary details you confirm. We do not host the photos.

Almost all of it is published, because that is the point — it appears on your public page. We use it to run the page, to send you your sign-in codes, and to email you when someone enquires.

If you enquired through an agent’s page

When you send an enquiry we store your name, your phone number or email, your message, which property it was about, and the fact that you ticked the consent box, along with the exact wording you agreed to and the time you agreed to it.

The agent decides what happens next. You are contacting them, not us. They determine how they use your enquiry and for how long; we hold it on their behalf and pass it to them. If you want your enquiry deleted or you want to stop being contacted, the fastest route is to tell the agent directly. You can also ask us and we will act on it — see below.

What we collect automatically

We use a small number of third-party tools to understand whether the product works. Being specific about these matters more than listing them by name:

• Microsoft Clarity records browsing sessions. This includes mouse movement, scrolling and taps, replayed as a session recording. It is how we find out that a button nobody presses is in the wrong place.
• Google Analytics and Firebase count page views and record application errors so we can find crashes.
• Vercel Analytics counts traffic and page performance.
• Our own records of page views and taps on an agent’s contact buttons, so the agent can see what their page is doing. These use a random identifier held in your browser for the length of the visit and discarded when you close the tab. It is not tied to your name and does not follow you to other sites.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising networks on these pages.

Who else sees it

Our suppliers, and only to the extent they need to run the service: Supabase stores the database, Vercel hosts and serves the site, and Resend delivers email. Enquiry details are shared with the agent you contacted, which is the entire purpose of sending one. We will disclose data if the law requires it.

These providers operate outside the UAE, which means your data is transferred and stored abroad.

How long we keep it

• Your agent account and page: for as long as the account exists. Delete the account and it goes with it.
• Enquiries: kept while the agent’s account is open, so they keep their history of who contacted them. Deleting an agent’s account deletes the enquiries sent to them.
• Counts of page views and taps: kept as aggregate figures. When a profile is deleted these are detached from it and survive only as numbers with nobody attached.

What you can ask for

Under the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it.

If you are an agent, the fastest route is Settings — you can edit everything on your page there, and delete your account outright, which removes your page, your listings and your enquiries immediately and permanently.

Otherwise, write to us and we will action it. There is no charge and we will not make it difficult.

Children

Mypage is a tool for working property agents. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change how any of this works we will update the date at the top. Where a change is significant and affects agents, we will say so in the product rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
